Lleyton Hewitt disppoints Home Crowd
Lleyton Hewitt disappointed the home crowd yet again as he was beaten in the second round of the ongoing Australian Open yesterday by Benjamin Becker of Germany.
That defeat left Hewitt completely shattered. It’s very much possible that it was his last appearance at Melbourne Park.
Hewitt did not make any official announcement after the game though. He just said he has no idea what happens in the 12 month’s time from here on in.
In the post match interview, the veteran was quoted as speaking, “I am not trying to kid people. I am actually not in a position to make any call right now. I would be assessing the situation and then, see what I have to do. I am not sure at the moment if I would be here next year or not.” Read more »
